0 Circle office response on posting of ASP as HSA and limiting of adhoc promotions to 1 year

Posting of ASP as HSA: The matter of posting of ASP (Sri B.Suresh Kumar) has HSA Hyd Stg. set 2 has been taken up with circle office duly expressing our association dissent for the proposal and a deligation led by C.S. also met the CPMG in this regard. Now the Circle Office has replied vide letter No.ST/92-1/09/II dated 11-03-10 that posting of ASP as set incharge was done as per Directorate instructions.

Limiting of adhoc promotions to 1 year: Circle office has replied the association vide C.O. letter No.ST/12-1/adhoc Group-B/09-10/II/KW dated 03-03-10 that the Directorate orders communicated vide D.G. letter No.137-99/2009-SPB.II dated 23-12-2009 have been implemented while issuing adhoc promotions in PSS Group cadre. The orders of the Directorate communicated in the said DG letter are as follows.
"The total period for which appointment/promotion may be made on adhoc basis, will be limited to 1 year and the practice of giving a break periodically and appointing the same person on adhoc basis may not be permitted."
Directorate orders and their implementation by circle office in both these issues are against the interests of our members and needs to be opposed till their cancellation. General Secretary has been requested to take up these issues with Directorate immediately. The matter will also be raised during the All India Conference scheduled to be held on 3rd & 4th April 2010.
