Minutes of Bi-monthly meting with PMG, Visakhapatnam dtd 19.5.2010
1. Request for issue of instructions for all divisional heads for filling up of Mailoverseer post at once
since some of the SDHs are suffering a lost without Mailoverseer services. Ex. Cheepurupalli
Sub dn, Parvathipuram and Araku Sub dn.
Reply: Consequent on fresh recruitment made in Postman cadre, the SPOs may fill up the
Mailoverseer posts.
2. Request for providing Gr.D assistance to all Sub Dnl Heads as per CO instructions.
Reply : Proposals have been received from Divisional Heads. The matter is under examination.
3. Request for allowing eligible road mileage to the SDHs for carrying out inspections/visists/
enquiries etc without imposing monthly ceiling.
Reply: Divl. SPs will be asked to conduct a meeting with all the SDHs in their division and fix
up road mileage based on terrain, transport facility and their timings, jurisdiction and other
exigencies.
