PART – II (Promotions/Transfers)

                       In pursuance of the Directorate Order in File No.9-34/2011-SPG dated 05.08.2011, the CPMG, AP Circle, Hyderabad, has ordered that the following IPO /IRM /General line officials are promoted to the cadre of  Postal Service Group ‘B’  based on the result of Departmental Competitive Examination, 2010  held on 29th  May, 2011, in the Pay Band of  Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4800/-, on regular basis and allotted to the Regions mentioned against their names with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until further orders:

General Conditions:

  1. No re-allotment requests will be considered within a period of one year. Leave taken during this period will not be counted for calculation of one-year period for considering  requests for re-allotments.

  2. Appointment is conditional to the officer’s placement in the designated circles.

  3. It is the officers responsibility to send a copy of the charge report on assumption of charge on the promoted post to Director (Staff) for record purpose.

  4. If there are grievances regarding seniority or any other complaint, representations, if any, should be made within 15 days from the date of issue of this order.

 
  1. Officers should be relieved immediately from the date of this order.

  2. In case, an officer is not willing to accept his promotion, his declination letter in writing should be received in Directorate within 30 days of this order, failing which, it will be presumed that he has declined the promotion.

       7.     The seniority of the selected candidates will be fixed later on.

  Vigilance / Disciplinary Case, if any

In case any vig./ disc case, of the type referred to in OM No. 22011/2/86-Estt.(A) dated 12.01.88 from DOP&T circulated vide Dte. Memo No. 25-19/88-SPG dated 04.05.88 (subsequently) revised vide DOP&T Memo No. 22022/4/91-Estt(A) dated 14.09.92 circulated vide Dte. Memo No.25-19/88-SPG dated 13.10.92 is pending against the officials, they should not be relieved for posting on promotion without obtaining specific orders from the Dte. The official against whom any punishment is current, they should not be promoted before expiry of currency of punishment. A report in this regard be submitted immediately.

Probation Period:

The officials who have been promoted to the Postal Service Group B will be on probation for two years and then their suitability to hold this post will be adjudged on completion of two years of probation. If any official proceeds on leave for a period exceeding 30 days during this period, the probation period will be extended depending upon the period of leave.

Training:

           The officials will be directly promoted to Postal Service Group B without any training for the present. However they will have to undergo the prescribed training as and when notified by Director PSCI Ghaziabad. A copy of the certificate given by the Director, PSCI, Ghaziabad on successful completion of training should be forwarded to the Director (Staff) for record.

Option for fixation of  Pay:

          If the officer who wishes to give option for choosing date for fixation of pay under FR-22(1)(a)(1) should do so within one month from the date of promotion.

                The Postmasters General Hyderabad / Kurnool / Vijayawada / Vishakhapatnam  Regions will issue posting / relief orders to the officers allotted to their Regions immediately.

                Posting orders in respect of HCR will be issued separately.

                Charge reports may be sent to all concerned.
